First Italian Contract
 

Stirling Denmark has signed a contract with an Italien consortium concerning the delivery of a wood chips fuelled, updraft gasifier based Stirling CHP plant to a school and sports facility near Bologna.

The plant will be based on a 200 kW updraft gasifier. The output will be 35 kWe electricity and 140 kWth of heat.

This plant is the first of a planned series of 30-50 installations over the coming few years.

The plant will be operational in August 2008.

The Danish prime minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, today visited the Technical University of Denmark and Stirling DK.

First Japanese Grid Connection
 

Stirling Denmark's installation at the Japanese "Akino Hot Spa" has now been granted permission by the local utility company TEPCO to become connected to the Japanese grid.

First German Contract
 

Stirling Denmark has signed a contract for the delivery of a 35 kWe Stirling engine for a German boiler installation.

The engine shall be delivered in March 2008 and the boiler/Stirling engine system shall become operational in May 2008.

First Contract for Pyrolysator Plant
 

Stirling Danmark ApS has signed an agreement with a Danish customer for the supply of the world's first biomass fuelled, pyrolysis plant with a 35 kWe Stirling engine.

The pyrolysis unit will be fuelled by wood chips, straw, and other biomass by-products. The pyrolysis gas will be burned in a combustion chamber, heating the Stirling engine.

The production capacity of the plant will be 35 kWe electricity, 140 kWth of heat, and approx. 120 kW of char coal. The fuel input will be appxoa. 400 kW.

The plant shall become operational in the end of 2008.


June 8th 2007

First Contract for Updraft Gasifier Plant
 

Stirling Denmark has signed an agreement with Svanholm Storkollektiv concerning the delivery of an updarft gasifier based Stirling engine CHP plant for their housing community.

The plant will consist of a 600 kW updraft gasifier, two (2) 35 kWe Stirling engines, and a 600 kW peak load gas boiler. The system will produce 70 kW power and up to 600 kWth of heat.

The heat will be used for the district heating system of the housing community and the electricity will be consumed by the community or sold to the electrical grid.

The plant shall become operational in the end of 2008.
